This week I have an assignment for you relating to gender roles. Do women and girls have certain things they should do and others they shouldn't? Do men and boys have certain things they should do and others they shouldn't? Wednesday morning, February 29th, we're going to look at gender roles in picture books. We're also going to look at gender roles in our cultures. Then, your homework is to complete the work on the following Glog. This will help you with working with technology next year. You'll have practice working on a glog, downloading a paper, e-mailing it in, writing a digital story,and giving answers on a voicethread! WOW!

Showing Love for Valentine's Day

We are collecting used goods (toys, books, school supplies, clothes, etc) to donate to an orphanage. Please help out. We want to teach the children to think beyond themselves to the needs of others. There's no incentive, no prize, just good will toward others driving this collection.
