- We're working on outlining skills in Social Studies.
- Finishing up perimeter and area with some practical exercises designing a garden. Friday is our end of the unit perimeter and area test.
- Having fun with our Op-Ed pieces - today we studied 4 different points of view about illegal immigrants.
- Learning about state-of-being and helping verbs. Here's the song we're learning to the tune of "America the Beautiful" - Am, is, are, was, were, be, being, been, have, had, has, do does, did, can, could, may, might, must, will, should, would, these are the helping verbs. Don't forget ought to or used to - that is all there is...some are being, all are helping. We need to learn these verbs.
Regresamos de nuevo a la normalidad.
Nos tomó 3 días, pero regresamos nuevamente a la normalidad después de la vacación - los niños y yo teníamos bastante energía para quemar en el día con gusto hoy.
. Estamos trabajando en perfilar las habilidades en los Estudios Sociales.
. Finalizando la unidad de perímetro y área con algunos ejercicios prácticos diseñando un jardín. El viernes es el final de la unidad de area y perímetro, habrá una prueba.
. Estamos divirtiéndonos con nuestro fragmento de (opinión) Op-Ed - hoy estudiamos 4 puntos de vista diferentes sobre los inmigrantes ilegales.
. Aprendiendo sobre “state–of-being y verbos auxiliares. Esto estamos aprendiendo
con la canción "America the Beautiful " – “Am, is, are, was, were, be, being, been, have, had, has, do does, did, can, could, may, might, must, will, should, would,”, éstos son verbos auxiliares. No se olvide “ought to” debería o “used to” solía ... estos son todo lo que hay. Necesitamos aprender estos verbos.
