Check out this amazing technology! http://voicethread.com/ Although I am in no way a voice thread master, I want to start using this technology in our classroom. Students have the option of doing the voice thread assignment in their notebook or responding online. To comment online they will need an account. It is simple and safe to set up and you will be led through the steps when you try to comment. Make sure to get your parents' help and permission before you do so.
